Connecting ABAP system to the solution manager

Steps to connect the satellite system to the Solution manager.

1.To add a system to a solman you need to go to the satellite system and run the transaction RZ70. There you need to give host .

2. Execute the start data collection.

SMSY ->goto ->Setup system landscape maintenance -> Schedule data transfer

Go to SLD web url of Solman ->.Technical system type =ALL -> select your system and select Installed

Cross check it with CEVERS (SE16) in your satellite system.

Then go to Solman system and run the transaction SMSY .

Assign to logical components.

Start -> give some logical component name ( should start with Z or Y) and also give role.

Complete the Wizard.

Then go to solman_directory (transaction) .

Create a solution there , for that you need to select your logical component.

Then go to the transaction Solman_workcenter -> New maintenance transaction
