Technical monitoring – connection monitoring

The connection monitoring application allow you to create maintain and delete Connection Monitoring
· The Connection Monitoring Setup is integrated in transaction SOLMAN_SETUP
· Choose the section Technical Monitoring
· Choose the monitoring use case Connection Monitoring

First you need to configure infrastructure (level 2)
2.1 – check prerequisites
2.2 – configure manually
2.3 – configure automatically
2.4 – default setting - Auto-Incidents
2.5 – workmode setting
2.6 – update content (Import Content allows to import the selected Content Version from SAP)
Define scope (level 3) in this step you have to select a Connection Monitoring Scenario

To create a new Connection Monitoring Scenario press the Create button
Provide a name and description for the new scenario

Choose add technical system select the system and choose continue

Now select the RFC connection you want to monitor
Press Save to persist your configuration and to close the scenario creation wizard
In level 4 activate the connection
  In level 5 Select a connection and Configure Notification and Incident settings
 
Monitoring applications
In work center go to tab technical monitoring – connection monitoring in the left side of the page
Choose the scenario and in the connection monitoring start embedded

And watch the monitoring application
